Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test 2025: Provisional Answer Keys Released, Here is How to Raise Objections

The Board of School Education Haryana has opened the window for candidates to challenge the HTET provisional answer keys, with a strict deadline set for July 9.

For thousands of aspiring educators across Haryana, the wait to gauge their performance in the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2025 has finally ended. The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has officially released the provisional answer keys for all three levels of the examination—PRT (Level 1), TGT (Level 2), and PGT (Level 3). Candidates can now visit the official portal at htet.eapplynow.com to download their specific response sheets and verify their marks.

The board activated the online link for the answer key on July 6 at 5 pm, marking the start of a critical three-day window. With the results contingent on this verification process, candidates are encouraged to meticulously check their responses against the published keys. Should a discrepancy arise, the facility to raise an objection is currently active on the official website.

How to challenge the keys

Submitting a challenge is a structured process. Candidates must log in to the portal, identify the specific question they believe to be incorrect, and provide supporting evidence or documentation to validate their claim. The board has mandated a non-refundable fee of Rs 100 per question. It is important to note that if an objection is found to be accurate upon review, the fee for that specific question will be refunded to the candidate’s original payment account.

The window to submit these challenges is time-bound, closing strictly on July 9, 2026, at 5 pm. The board has been clear: offline submissions—whether via email, post, or physical delivery—will not be entertained. Only those who follow the prescribed digital route on the portal will see their concerns addressed before the final result is prepared.

The bigger picture: A season of competitive testing

The release of the HTET data arrives amid a wider wave of recruitment activity across the country. From the BPSC special school teacher exams in Bihar to the SSC JE and various state-level recruitments in Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh, the administrative machinery is currently deep in the phase of finalizing results. For the average candidate, this period is often the most anxiety-inducing, as they navigate the fine line between their estimated score and the final, official outcome.

While the sheer volume of released answer keys—seen recently in everything from police recruitment to specialized state agriculture roles—suggests a concerted push by exam boards to clear backlogs, it also puts immense pressure on students. The consistency in these processes, including the standardization of objection fees and digital portals, highlights an attempt to bring transparency to a high-stakes system. However, the onus remains on the candidate to act within these tight, non-negotiable windows to ensure their voice is heard.
