Law enforcement agencies are now investigating whether these shootings are part of a broader, global extortion racket designed to intimidate the Indian diaspora. With Malik currently being tracked by international agencies following his temporary detention in the United States, the reach of these networks remains a high-priority concern for both Indian and European investigators.
