The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has finalized arrangements for the upcoming special educator recruitment tests, with admit cards now available for download ahead of the June 7 assessment.

As the academic calendar progresses, the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) is preparing to conduct the highly anticipated Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for special educators. With the examination date of June 7 fast approaching, candidates are currently making their final preparations. As of June 5, the board has confirmed that all logistical arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth testing process for those aspiring to work with children who have special needs across the state.

Exam Schedule and Participant Breakdown

The board has scheduled two distinct examinations for this session, both taking place on the same day. The morning shift, dedicated to the Special Educator TET (Pre-Primary to Class V), is set to run from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Officials expect a turnout of 407 candidates for this session. Following this, the afternoon shift for the Special Educator TET (Class VI to Class XII) will commence at 2:00 pm and conclude at 4:30 pm, with 128 registered candidates expected to appear. Both exams have been allotted a duration of two hours and thirty minutes.

Mandatory Documentation and Entry Protocols

Access to the examination halls will be strictly regulated. Candidates must carry their admit cards, which were released on the official HPBOSE website on June 4. To retrieve these documents, applicants are required to log in using their specific application number and date of birth. Alongside the hall ticket, participants are mandated to bring a valid photo identification document to verify their identity at the three designated examination centres.

Guidelines for Candidates

HPBOSE authorities have strongly advised all examinees to arrive at their assigned centres well ahead of the reporting time. Early arrival is intended to facilitate seamless security checks and administrative verification, preventing any potential last-minute disruptions. The board emphasizes that the admit card contains critical information, including the candidate’s roll number, photograph, and specific centre instructions, which should be reviewed thoroughly before the day of the test.

Beyond the immediate June 7 assessments, the board has already outlined a comprehensive schedule for the remainder of the June session, which will continue through June 21, covering various other teaching disciplines. For those sitting for the special educator exams, ensuring all documentation is in order remains the final essential step before the testing begins.
