Students can now access their results on the official portal as the State CET Cell opens a brief window for grievance redressal.

The wait is finally over for thousands of aspiring designers across Maharashtra. On June 12, the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, officially declared the results for the MAH B.Design CET 2026. With the scorecard released, candidates who appeared for the entrance exam can now log in to the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org, to view their performance and download their digital mark sheets.

How to access your result

To retrieve your B.Des scorecard, head over to the official state portal. Once on the homepage, navigate to the MAH CET 2026 (B.Design) tab and select the "View Score Card" link. You will need your application number and date of birth to gain access. After clearing the security captcha, your result—complete with your category, roll number, and specific percentile—will appear on the screen. It is highly recommended that candidates download the PDF version and print a physical copy immediately for future admission formalities.

Beyond just the numbers, the Cell has also provided access to the images of the candidate's original answer sheets. This transparency allows students to cross-verify their performance against the official keys. If a student spots a discrepancy or has a legitimate grievance regarding the evaluation, the window to raise an objection is narrow: the portal will accept submissions from June 12 until June 14. The authorities are expected to process these requests and provide a response by June 18.

The bigger picture: Why this matters

While the digital nature of the result declaration makes the process faster, the intensity surrounding the MAH design CET reflects the growing appetite for professional design education in the state. Every year, the competition for limited seats in top-tier design institutes makes every decimal point in these percentiles critical. For students, this result is not just a score; it is the gatekeeper to their academic future. The current, streamlined process—which began with the exam date announcement on April 5—is designed to keep the admission cycle on track, ensuring that the shift toward the next phase of counselling remains uninterrupted.

It is important for candidates to remain vigilant. While the web is currently flooded with updates regarding various CET exams—ranging from the MHT CET result for engineering and pharmacy streams to various law and management entrance tests—ensure you are strictly using the official cetcell.mahacet.org domain. With various competitive exams being processed simultaneously by the state, sticking to verified, official channels is the only way to avoid confusion during this high-stakes period.
